"Linnaeus University, one of Sweden’s newest higher education instutions, was established in 2010 through the merger between Växjö University and University of Kalmar. As an education institution they strive to be a modern university where knowledge grows. Their vision is to make Linnaeus University as a creative and international knowledge environment promoting curiosity, creativity, companionship, and utility. While their goal is to have most of the educational programmes taught in English and include the opportunity to study abroad. "
"Offering bachelor’s and master’s programmes, a summer academy and a preparatory English course, they are all open to foreign and Swedish students. The Bachelor’s programmes available are Business and Economics, Computer Science/IT, Design and Mathematics. For the Master’s programmes, they offer majors in Business and Economics, Behavioural Sciences, Computer Science/IT, Cultural Studies and Social Sciences, Design, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Technology, and Engineering. By studying at the university, students will acquire new knowledge and learn to have a critical approach. Moreover, they have Career Counseling service which offers support for students to help them decide on how to summarise their education, experiences, and personal merits in the best way possible.
