The University of Szeged (SZTE) is one of the most popular universities of Hungary, occupying high places in all the international rankings. The number of its academic research and teaching staff reaches 2300 teaching and training up to 25 000 students. It has been considered for years as one of the world’s best 500 universities and it is known as a green institution.
It offers broad range of educational opportunities to students from Hungary and abroad. There are 47 full-time study programmes offered in foreign languages (such as English, German, French, Italian and Spanish). In recent years there have been 2500 students from abroad.
