Established in 1987, The Hague University is a university of applied sciences with a vocational philosophy where they mix theory and practice. It is considered as one of the most international university in Netherlands, consists of faculties, research groups and service departments, with around 23,400 students coming from more than 135 countries.
"The university’s main campus is located in The Hague, the political and cultural heart of Europe and the International City of Peace, which makes it the best place to study world citizenship. Other than in The Hague, they also have campuses at Zoetermeer and Delft. As an institution of higher education, The Hague University of Applied Sciences has the objective to provide high quality education which it is supported by the university’s research group as it establishes links between teaching, practice, and applied research. They believe that it is crucially important to provide students with life experiences, therefore they apply a focused, hands-on approach where theory and practice are combined. Offering a total of 42 higher education degrees, the university has 13 programmes taught in English, ranging from engineering to business.
