Mendel University in Brno is located in Brno, Czech Republic. It was founded on 24 July 1919 and now consists of five faculties and one institute - the Faculty of Agronomy, Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, Faculty of Business and Economics, Faculty of Horticulture, Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies and Institute of Lifelong Education.
" The research centres, grant-funded research, specific research (especially research of the students in PhD and Master’s study programs) and participation in international research programs are some of the priority activities in the internationalization of the university. At the same time, these are the areas into which the available scientific research capacity of the university departments is directed."
