Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Hanze UAS), founded in 1798, is the oldest and largest of applied sciences in the north of Netherlands. It is known for its practice oriented education system and strong focus on the field of Energy & Healthy Ageing and entrepreneurship.
"The institution is located in Gronigen, a city with an age-old tradition of being a trade, knowledge, sciences, and culture center. It is one of the best cities to study as 25% of the populations are students. Their wide range of practice oriented programs are suitable for students who are eager to gain practical experiences other than attending lectures. The curriculum requires students to have two work placements which allows students to practice what they have learned in class.
