Chalmers University of Technology is a research-intensive university focusing in Engineering for Sustainable Development. Founded in 1829, Chalmers has more than 9500 students with ten percent of them come from other countries. Therefore, all 40 of their English taught two-year master’s programmes are provided with a safe and open-minded environment for the students and teachers that have various cultural backgrounds. Along with the vision – for a sustainable future, Chalmers has been providing courses which address environmental issues and sustainability; all are integrated in every programmes.
Chalmers has two large campuses, Campus Johanneberg, the oldest and largest one, and Campus Lindholmen. Both campuses are located in Gothenburg, Sweden’s second biggest city. Each campus has a Science Park nearby which have been the locations for numerous companies to do their activities. This is one of Chalmers’ efforts in bringing education closer to the industry. Furthermore, its strategic partnerships with international high-tech companies are opening the opportunity for students to achieve their excellent career.
