Although French, German and Luxembourgish are the official languages of the country, you might also study in Luxembourg in English. In general, tuition at higher education in Luxembourg is conducted in English and any of the official languages of Luxembourg, which affords students the opportunity to become fluent in several languages while earning a university degree. Luxembourg, a founding member of the European Union, hosts some of Europe's most important institutions, such as the European Court of Justice or the European Investment Bank.
Students don't have to pay tuition fees for the majority of study programs at higher education in Luxembourg, with the exemption of a few specific courses, with tuition fees starting at about 600 EUR per semester. However, students have to pay a small registration fee of 100 EUR per semester.
